Trump family members will join state visit to UK

President Trump’s adult children and their spouses will join him on his visit to the United Kingdom next month, The Hill has confirmed.

The Trump family is expected to attend a banquet dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth II on June 3, according to ABC News, which first reported the details of his trip.

{mosads}People familiar with the trip told ABC that one of the potential meetings will involve Trump’s children, including Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, Tiffany Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and his wife Lara, as well as Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton.

“President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump accepted the invitation from Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to visit the United Kingdom from June 3 to 5, 2019,” the White House said in a statement to ABC. “This state visit will reaffirm the steadfast and special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom.”

President Trump and first lady Melania Trump had tea with the queen during his visit to the U.K. last summer, but did not meet with Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, ABC noted. Prince Charles is expected to invite the Trumps to tea, the outlet reported.
