Trump: I never called Meghan Markle ‘nasty’
President Trump in a tweet early Sunday pushed back on media reports that he called Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, “nasty.”
“I never called Meghan Markle ‘nasty,'” he said.
“Made up by the Fake News Media, and they got caught cold!” he added.
“Will @CNN, @nytimes and others apologize? Doubt it!”

{mosads}Trump, in an interview published Friday, said he was not aware that Markle had called him “divisive” and “misogynistic” during his 2016 presidential campaign.
“I didn’t know that. What can I say?” he told The Sun ahead of his state visit to the United Kingdom.
“I didn’t know that she was nasty,” he added, according to the British tabloid.
Trump added that he hopes Markle, an American-born actress, will succeed as a member of the royal family.
“She will be very good,” he said.
Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, will reportedly join Trump for a private lunch during the president’s trip this week.
