The crowd at the White House sang “Happy Birthday” to President Trump Friday afternoon in the Rose Garden before he delivered remarks on health care.
“Very nice, wow. That is very, very nice,” Trump told the crowd. “You must like what I’m about to say, I think.”
{mosads}Trump celebrated his 73rd birthday on Friday.
Trump was joined by small business owners, administration officials and others for his announcement on expanding health care options for small businesses and workers at the White House Friday afternoon.
Trump mentioned by name Vice President Pence, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and Small Business Administration acting Administrator Chris Pilkerton, and also recognized small business owners in the crowd.
“I want to extend a special welcome to many of the small business owners here. We have a lot of them in our midst and thank you very much. This is a big advantage for you and something where a lot of good people are going to be taken care of,” Trump said.
