Odds of Trump impeachment double on betting site

The odds that President Trump will be impeached by the end of the year doubled on a prominent betting site following reports of a whistleblower complaint about Trump’s call with Ukraine.

The price of a “yes” share that Trump will be impeached surged to 42 cents, double its close on Sunday in PredictIt, according to Bloomberg News.

{mosads}That represents a 42 percent chance the House will vote to level impeachment charges against Trump, according to the news site.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is set to address the media later on Tuesday as the clamor for impeachment grows amid House Democrats, who plan to vote on a nonbinding resolution condemning Trump’s interactions with Ukraine on Wednesday. 

Trump tweeted Tuesday afternoon that he has authorized the full transcript of his conversation with Zelensky to be released Wednesday.
