Kushner lands book deal, slated for release in 2022

Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former President Trump, has landed a book deal.

Kushner’s new book, which is slated for release in 2022, will be published by Broadside Books, a conservative imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Broadside said in a statement that Kushner’s book “will be the definitive, thorough recounting of the administration — and the truth about what happened behind closed doors.”

Kushner is currently working on the memoir and is expected to touch on topics such as the Middle East, criminal justice reform and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Kushner, who served as a senior adviser to Trump, played a central role in peace talks between Israel and Arab countries in the region as well as in the passage of criminal justice reform in 2018.

But he also found himself embroiled in multiple controversies during his tenure, including for his financial dealings and for the Trump administration’s handling of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
