Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said early Sunday that Rudy Giuliani is still being considered for secretary of State in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration.
{mosads}”But we’re also talking to a lot of others and you see the list today, folks coming in — obviously Rudy Giuliani’s come in,” Priebus told ABC’s “This Week.”
“We’ve talked to Nikki Haley. General [John] Kelly is coming in today and many others for all of these positions,” he added.
Priebus, who will serve as Trump’s chief of staff in the White House, said “of course” the former New York mayor is still a possibility for the role.
Giuliani, along with former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, is reportedly under review for the position as the nation’s top diplomat.
