Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, received the endorsement of Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) Wednesday.
{mosads}“At a critical time in our history, Hillary Clinton is the kind of experienced leader this country needs,” O’Malley told a crown in Annapolis. “No one is better equipped to repair America’s alliances abroad and address the urgent needs of our communities at home.”
Clinton, who is expected to score the endorsement of New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D) next week, called O’Malley a “terrific leader whose innovative initiatives have been emulated around the country.”
O’Malley will chair Clinton’s Maryland campaign.
