Trump: RNC should be fighting election interference, Pennsylvania ‘Voter Registration Scam’ instead of hosting debates
Former President Trump said late Thursday the Republican National Committee (RNC) should stop hosting debates and focus on combating “Election Interference & the Pennsylvania Voter Registration Scam.”
“I’m up 56 Points, so the Debates would seem to be a complete waste of time,” Trump, who skipped the first two GOP debates and reportedly plans to miss the third, said in a post on Truth Social.
“I’m also up 10 on Crooked Joe! What is the RNC doing? They should be fighting against Election Interference & the Pennsylvania Voter Registration Scam,” he added, without mentioning details. “The Debates should be ENDED, BAD for the Republican Party!”
The former president also mentioned his recent visit to Michigan just before the latest debate and gave a “REPORT CARD,” listing off GOP challengers and his thoughts on their performances.
“Doug Burgum did a very good job, solid & smart! Sloppy Chris Christie was a DISASTER, A TRUMP DERANGED LUNATIC!” Trump said in his post. “Nikki ‘Birdbrain’ Haley was exposed for her caustic DISLOYALTY & LIES about the Republican Party, and me. Doesn’t have what it takes, NEVER DID!”
“Lyin’ Mike Pence has lost a lot of his energy,” he added. “Very flat, needs me badly! Actually, quite sad to watch, but he’ll get better. Too much J-6! Tim Scott stepped it up. Wonderful guy. Looking forward to getting his Endorsement! Vivek said I was a great President. Thank you. Good Job! Ron DeSanctimonious had a bad night. He can feel the end is near. Dropping like a rock!”
Trump’s post comes after one of his top advisers, Chris LaCivita, called for an end to the GOP debates. LaCivita, a Republican strategist, said Wednesday night’s debate was “as boring and inconsequential as the first debate.”
“The RNC should immediately put an end to any further primary debates so we can train our fire on Crooked Joe Biden and quit wasting time and money that could be going to evicting Biden from the White House,” LaCivita said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, toward the end of the debate.
