Kari Lake argues world leaders taking advantage of ‘feeble’ Biden
Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake said that world leaders are taking advantage of the U.S.’s “feeble” president amid fighting between militant group Hamas and Israel in a recent interview.
“[S]ome of these world leaders are like sharks,” Lake said in an interview on One America News Network (OAN). “They smell blood in the water. With Joe Biden, you can tell the man is feeble. He’s not strong, he’s not for America and they can take advantage of him, and they’re taking advantage of America right now.”
Lake announced her run for Senate Tuesday, aiming to take the seat of Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.). She is facing off against Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), while Sinema has not spoken up about campaign plans.
“I’m really tired of watching our politicians retreat from every single important battle. They’re cowards,” Lake said Tuesday.
“That’s how we got into the mess we’re in right now because they have surrendered far too many hills. We are on — we’re on the final hill right now, and I’m not surrendering this hill,” Lake said.
Lake is an ally of former President Trump, and much like the former president, she’s been involved in election denial. She ran for Arizona governor last year and continues to deny her loss in that race. Trump endorsed Lake quickly.
“When I’m back in the White House, I need strong fighters like Kari in the Senate,” Trump said in a video on Truth Social.
A recent survey found Lake leading Gallego and Sinema by 4 and 19 points, respectively. Ten percent of the survey were undecided.
