Biden wins Nebraska Democratic primary

President Biden walks towards Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Biden heads to California and Washington state for campaign receptions over the next few days.

President Biden is projected to win the Nebraska Democratic presidential primary, according to Decision Desk HQ.

Biden was not expected to face any stiff competition for the state, and there is no “uncommitted” option for primary voters to cast a ballot vote against the president.

Trump beat President Biden in Nebraska by 19 points in 2020, though the state’s 2nd Congressional District awarded Biden one electoral vote. Nebraska has 29 delegates up for grabs on the Democrats’ side.
