President Biden won South Dakota’s Democratic presidential primary Tuesday, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.

Biden was not expected to face any significant competition in the state; it has 16 delegates up for grabs on the Democratic side.

South Dakota voted for former President Trump in the 2020 general election, where he won 62 percent of the vote outright, and it’s almost certain to go for him again this fall.
