President Biden will no longer seek reelection after weeks of mounting calls from fellow Democrats for him to step aside amid questions over his mental acuity and ability to defeat former President Trump in November.
Biden announced his decision to withdraw from the race in a letter shared on social media Sunday afternoon while at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Del., where he has been for several days recovering from COVID-19.
