Charlamagne tha God’s advice to Harris: ‘Go on Fox’
Radio host Charlamagne tha God is advising Vice President Harris and her allies to go on Fox News more.
Charlamagne issued the advice during an interview with Fox News’s Jessica Tarlov for Wednesday’s episode of “The Breakfast Club,” in response to Tarlov saying there are “a lot of persuadable voters out there.”
“That’s something that I’ve suggested to a lot of liberals, you know, especially the VP now running for president. Go on Fox,” Charlamagne said. “President Obama used to do it. You know, [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom did it. When he started doing it, they started talking about him being — running for president. Secretary [Pete] Buttigieg does it all the time. Go on there.”
Tarlov then noted Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) was on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom” last month and that he was “great.” She added that she loves seeing “elected officials showing up” on Fox News.
“And just if you want to talk to the most people possible, you’re going to go to Fox,” she added.
Charlamagne signaled he would endorse Harris shortly after she launched her White House bid, saying at the time she “is the perfect person to fight in these unprecedented times.” He previously suggested he would vote for President Biden but declined to formally endorse him.
Former President Trump said he committed to a debate with Harris on Fox News on Sept. 4 and that he would not attend the debate on ABC News he previously agreed to with Biden. The Harris campaign said Trump is looking to Fox News to “bail him out” and called on him again to debate the vice president, who recently clinched the Democratic nomination, at the previously agreed upon date.
