GOP lawmaker gives profane tribute to Trump

A Republican lawmaker reportedly provided President Trump with a profane tribute during a meeting with a GOP group. 

According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) said the president is “our a——” during a gathering with the Riverside County Young Republicans.

“He’s just like he is on TV,” Hunter reportedly said to the group. “He’s an a——, but he’s our a——.”

{mosads}A meeting attendee told the newspaper that Hunter put his hand over his mouth as he spoke.

“He put his hand near his mouth like when you are going to whisper something,” Jose Guzman told the Union-Tribune.

Hunter endorsed the president early in the 2016 Republican presidential primaries, declaring his support for Trump after he won the Nevada caucuses.
