House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday renewed her invitation for the Golden State Warriors to visit the Capitol after the team decided against going to the White House.

Pelosi tweeted out a letter Tuesday that she and Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who represents the Bay Area district where the Warriors are based, had sent in June inviting the team to visit the U.S. Capitol to celebrate their NBA championship victory.

“[Stephen Curry] and Warriors — the offer still stands,” Pelosi tweeted Tuesday.

In the letter, the California Democrats wrote to the reigning NBA champions that “in celebration of your victory, we would be delighted to welcome you publicly as a team or personally as families to the United States Capitol.”

“We look forward to honoring your championship in the heart of our democracy.”

The Warriors announced Saturday that they would no longer visit the White House after President Trump revoked his invitation to star player Stephen Curry.

Curry had said he wasn’t planning on visiting the White House, which is a tradition for championship sports teams.

The team said they would still be traveling to Washington, D.C., in February, but will focus the trip on “equality, diversity and inclusion.”

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) also extended an invitation to the team to visit the city.
