President Trump’s longtime assistant and senior vice president of the Trump Organization Rhona Graff is set to be interviewed by members of the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, according to NBC News.

While the committee’s past interviews have been held at the Capitol in Washington by elected members of the committee, only a “handful” of lawmakers will take part in the interview at an unknown location in New York, according to NBC News.

{mosads}The report comes after Democratic lawmakers departed Washington on Thursday for the holidays.

House Democrats on the committee have expressed a growing concern in recent days about the direction of the probe under House Republicans.

The committee’s ranking Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff (Calif.), has voiced his concerns that Republicans on the committee are looking to wrap up the probe early.

Schiff accused the committee’s chairman, Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), of “doing the work of the White House” in an interview on Thursday.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) voiced her concerns about the probe under Republican leadership in a letter to Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Thursday.

“Political haste must not cut short valid investigatory threads. Key questions about foreign interference in our elections remain, and must be thoroughly investigated,” Pelosi wrote.

Ryan’s spokeswoman issued a statement earlier this year saying the probe would continue.

“The House Permanent Select Committee on Investigation is conducting a thorough and professional investigation into Russian meddling and is following the facts wherever they may lead,” AshLee Strong said.
