The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and Judiciary panel on Saturday released a nearly completely unredacted transcript of lawmakers’ hours-long interview with former FBI Director James Comey the previous day.
The committees have been investigating decisions by top Justice Department and FBI officials surrounding their probes into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the early stages of the Trump-Russia investigation during the 2016 presidential election.
Comey is set to appear for another interview before lawmakers on Dec. 17, when House Republicans will still maintain control of the committees before Democrats take over next month.
