Incumbent Rep. Scott Perry (R) has guarded his seat from Democratic challenger Janelle Stelson, according to a projection from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ.

Last month, Cook Political Report shifted the closely watched race in the Keystone State’s 10th District from “lean Republican” to “toss up,” as Stelson, a former Republican, made gains in fundraising.

Perry, who was first elected in 2019, has a history of overcoming tough races. National Republicans had brushed off predictions of the former Freedom Caucus chair’s race as a toss-up, citing Perry’s tight wins in previous elections.

Still, party leaders, such as Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) made trips to Pennsylvania’s 10th District to rally support for Perry.

Perry contested the 2020 presidential election results, finding himself subject to federal probe investigating then-former President Trump and his allies’ efforts to overturn the election.
