Fox’s Lahren: Gun-free zones mean ‘you’re neutering everyone’

Tom Lahren

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren said Wednesday night that gun-free zones mean “you’re neutering everyone” in terms of self-defense and argued those seeking to do harm will find other means, such as explosives, instead.

“People feel empowered with a firearm to be able to protect themselves,” Lahren explained as she joined Sean Hannity in Las Vegas near the scene of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. “This situation, they wouldn’t have been able to protect themselves.

{mosads}”What about the hundreds that happen every single day when someone with a gun, a good guy with a gun stop the situation?” Lahren, who attended the University of Las Vegas, asked. “I feel much more safe when there is ex-military or ex-police around me with a firearm. I feel much more safe and secure.”

“They’ll use explosives,” she continued before pointing out a suicide bomber attack in Manchester, England, in June. “Ariana Grande — look at what happened at her concert, another tragedy. Explosives. They’re going to find a way,” she continued.

“Look at what happened in Boston,” she added, referring to the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013.

“Criminals, terrorists, psychos — they don’t obey our laws, they don’t care about your gun control and if anything, when you have a gun-free zone, you’re neutering everyone there.”

Lahren’s commentary comes after a gunman opened fire on the crowed at a country music festival, killing at least 58 people and wounding more than 500.
