Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren declared that the “fake news media” all want President Trump “to die” in remarks to host Sean Hannity Thursday night.

“So the president comes out with this fake news media award last night, but then you are watching the media and they are trashing his doctor, the guy that also was the doctor for Barack Obama and George W. Bush,” Hannity said. “They are angry because the president is in excellent health. How is anybody to interpret that other than there is nothing this man can do they will never like.”

On Tuesday, Navy Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson, the presidential physician, briefed the White House press corps for more than an hour on Trump’s first physical as commander in chief, giving him a clean bill of health. Reporters grilled Jackson on everything from Trump’s mental health to his cholesterol, and the results were pored over on cable news for days.{mosads}

“They want him to fail and they him to be ill and they want him to die. Let’s be honest, that’s exactly what they want,” Lahren said. “They’re so frustrated that he is winning for the American people.”

Lahren, who joined Fox in August a few months after her tenure at the struggling Blaze TV came to a tumultuous end following a falling-out with founder Glenn Beck, suggested Jackson might need to give Democratic lawmakers an evaluation as well.

“In the spirit of caring, in the spirit of sharing, we should have that same doctor examine folks like [House Minority Leader] Nancy Pelosi [D-Calif.] and [Rep.] Maxine Waters [D-Calif.], because they need all the help they can get.”

Hannity extended the recommendation to members of the media, including “Dr. liberal Joe Scarborough and Dr. Mika [Brzezinski]” on MSNBC.

The “Morning Joe” pair has been a relatively frequent target of the Fox News host, especially this week after the pair questioned the “motivation” of Jackson, who has served as White House physician for the last three presidents.

“Are we questioning his integrity? No, we’re not. I’m just questioning his motivations,” Scarborough said. “Maybe he likes eating at the White House mess hall. I don’t know.”

“But his own words are not the words of a physician, they’re the words of a political hack,” Scarborough added.

Scarborough and Brzezinski have repeatedly called the president’s mental state into question, dating back to May, with Scarborough stating that Trump has “early-onset dementia.”
