‘Fox & Friends’ host on Pennsylvania House race: ‘Cuteness counts’

“Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday said “cuteness counts” when discussing Democrat Conor Lamb’s strong performance the special congressional election in Pennsylvania.

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt said during the show Democrats were likely trying to figure out what made Lamb popular, so they could put forth similar candidates.

Co-host Steve Doocy chimed in, saying Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume had called Lamb “cute.”

“Absolutely. Cuteness counts.”

The Pennsylvania election was too close to call Wednesday morning, with Lamb leading by 641 votes but with more than 1,000 absentee votes still to be counted.

Lamb’s chances of an upset win over Republican Rick Saccone were promising, and the Democrat declared victory early Wednesday morning.

“It took a little longer than we thought, but we did it. You did it,” Lamb told supporters at his election night party, where he was introduced as “congressman-elect.”
