Ben Shapiro to get talk radio show
Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro’s podcast will be syndicated in several major radio markets starting next week.
The Daily Wire, a conservative site run by Shapiro, announced Thursday that it’s partnering with Westwood One to broadcast his podcast on radio stations in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Seattle and Salt Lake City.
The show will debut on April 2. Advertising time has already sold out, Westwood One said.
Shapiro, 34, is a contributor for The Hill.

He has attracted a large social media following and is considered a leading voice for younger conservatives. Prior to founding The Daily Wire, he served as an editor-at-large for Breitbart News.
Shapiro told Politico on Thursday he doesn’t believe he’ll be competing with other prominent conservative hosts like Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh and said he hopes to be seen as a voice for conservatives of all ages.
“I’m hoping that it actually has a marked impact on how conservatives think across the country,” he said, “Because there is a pretty large gap right now between young conservatives and older conservatives on issues up to and including the administration.”
