The Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo is set to interview President Trump for Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” this weekend at 10 a.m.
The network announced Friday that Bartiromo and Trump will “discuss the current state of the United States economy, global trade sanctions, immigration, and more.”
{mosads}Trump has appeared on Fox News or Fox Business more than two dozen times since taking office, including most recently with “Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy on June 15 from the White House lawn.
The president has done just two interviews outside of Fox in the past 13 months.
In May of 2017, he sat down with NBC News’s Lester Holt shortly after the firing of then-FBI Director James Comey.
And earlier this month, Trump was interviewed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos directly after his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The Sunday interview comes after Bartiromo interviewed Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Trump senior economic adviser Larry Kudlow on Friday morning. The interview took place from the Treasury Department as part of the administration’s aggressive push to tout the GOP’s tax law.
Mnunchin has been on a media tour recently, having also appeared on Fox Business rival CNBC on Wednesday.
