Fox News host Laura Ingraham is transitioning her nationally-syndicated radio show that launched more than 17 years ago into a podcast, according to a Wednesday announcement.

Ingraham, who was also awarded a prime-time program on Fox News in Oct. 2017, will launch “The Laura Ingraham Show” in January on PodcastOne, which dubs itself the nation’s leading advertiser-supported podcast network.

{mosads}“Due to her HUGE success on the Fox News channel, daily podcasts are a much better fit for Laura’s hectic schedule and provides her listeners in all markets access at any time to the new Laura Ingraham Show podcast,” says PodcastOne Founder Norm Pattiz in an announcement. “She’s at the top of her game and her new original podcasts will fit perfectly on PodcastOne.”

Ingraham says doing a three-hour radio show in addition to hosting a prime-time TV show and raising three kids as a single mother “was no longer feasible” while noting that digital podcasting is “revolutionizing the audio world.”

“While hosting a prime-time television show and raising three children on my own, continuing a three-hour morning radio show was no longer feasible,” Ingraham said in the announcement. “Although I will greatly miss my radio listeners and affiliates, working late nights and early mornings has taken a toll on my family life.”

“Plus, my radio audience is smart, savvy and committed, and I know most will follow my new show in the format that is revolutionizing the audio world–digital podcasting,” she added.

PodcastOne currently features prominent hosts including Adam Carolla, Shaquille O’Neal, Dan Patrick, Dennis Miller, Rich Eisen and former Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), along with hundreds more.

Ingraham’s Fox News TV program has dominated its timeslot at 10 p.m. ET since launching in Oct. 2017, topping MSNBC competitor Lawrence O’Donnell by more than one million total viewers and CNN’s Don Lemon by two million in delivering an average of more than 2.97 million viewers in the month of October.
