Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson panned the decision for Nicole Kidman to play her in an upcoming movie about former Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, declaring the Australian actress “looks nothing like me” while slamming the movie for making changes to her story.

“This looks nothing like me & the script I’ve seen makes other people out to be heroes unjustifiably,” Carlson wrote in a tweet that included a photo of Kidman as Carlson in the movie. “Hard to see your own story faked. Unfortunately – Proves trumps claim of #FakeNews #Realstory”

The film, “Fair & Balanced,” also stars Margot Robbie as an associate producer at the network and Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, who departed Fox for NBC in January 2017. John Lithgow will play Roger Ailes, the former network chief who was sued by Carlson in July 2016 and was ousted from the network two weeks later after an internal investigation.

Carlson settled with the network for $20 million in September 2016.

Ailes, 77, passed away in May 2017.

Carlson’s casting critique comes after a new documentary on Ailes released over the weekend earned just $18,833.00, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

The film, “Divide and Conquer: The Story of Roger Ailes,” was released to just 13 theaters. It also was simultaneously released to video on-demand.
