CNN’s Navarro returns fire after Roger Stone calls her ‘a little piglet’

CNN contributor Ana Navarro and Trump ally Roger Stone traded pointed insults in an interview and on Twitter, respectively, with Stone calling Navarro “a nasty diva” and “a little piglet,” and Navarro responding that she viewed the barbs as “a badge of honor.”

The back-and-forth began after Stone, during an interview with Infowars, referred to Navarro as a failed political consultant with “a total lack of talent or intelligence.”

Stone made the comments while wearing a t-shirt that read, “Roger Stone did nothing wrong.”

{mosads}”A man is known by his enemies,” Stone said Tuesday. “Ana Navarro, porquita, a little piglet. This woman is 50 pounds of [Rep. Adam] Schiff [(D-Calif.)] in a 20-pound bag. Talentless. No accomplishment.”

“She’s the ‘political consultant’ who’s never actually elected anybody to anything. She’s really a nasty diva, very abusive of the makeup people, and the hair people, waiters, doormen, cab drivers, and she’s accomplished nothing,” he continued.

“She’s an enormous sack of Schiff and an abusive person on top of it. So, I revel in your hatred, Ana, and when I’m acquitted I’m going to go right back to criticizing you for your total lack of talent or intelligence.”

Navarro, also a Friday co-host on ABC’s “The View,” responded Tuesday night that she enjoys getting under Stone’s skin in a tweet to her 1.1 million followers.

Stone was arrested on Jan. 25 in a pre-dawn raid at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., that involved about a dozen agents wearing bullet-proof vests and tactical gear. The dramatic raid was captured live on CNN.

The 66-year-old was indicted on seven counts in connection with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigations into Russia’s election interference in 2016 and potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Moscow.
