Beck to Hannity: ‘We are officially at the end of the country as we know it’ if Trump loses in 2020

Blaze Media’s Glenn Beck in an interview Monday with Fox News’s Sean Hannity said if President Trump and the GOP lose in 2020, “we are officially at the end of the country as we know it.”

In his remarks, Beck painted the picture of socialists, anarchists and “Islamists” working together to take down not only the United States but Europe as well.

{mosads}He did not mention white supremacists in his remarks, which came a few days after 50 people were killed at two mosques in New Zealand in an episode of violence that shocked much of the world.

“I said what was coming and the last few steps were that the radicals, the anarchists, the Islamists, the socialists would all gather together, they would not be working together, plotting together, but they would see the opportunity and they would all come together and work to destabilize Europe and America,” Beck said. “And that is exactly what is happening.”

“If the Republicans don’t win in this next election, I think we are officially at the end of the country as we know it,” he concluded. “We may not survive even if we win, but we definitely don’t if the Republicans lose with Donald Trump.”

Democrats are ramping up for next year’s presidential race. The party already has 13 candidates, and former Vice President Joe Biden may also enter the contest.

Beck, a former Fox News host who founded The Blaze, was once at odds with Hannity over then-candidate Trump.

In an August 2015 Facebook post, Beck, who campaigned for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in the 2016 Republican primary, asked why conservatives in the media, including Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and Ann Coulter, supported the real estate mogul.

“Why are big name ‘conservatives’ supporting him?” Beck wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday.

“I am not talking about the average Joe, I am talking about Sean Hannity or Ann Coulter. How about Savage or Rush?” Beck added. “These are smart people. What am I missing? Just based on his favorability ratings he could never win in a general. Research shows that he may be near his ceiling now.”

Beck has since changed his perspective on Trump, telling his radio audience in May while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat that the president has done “remarkable” things since taking office in January 2017.

“I will vote for him in 2020! Gladly!” Beck said before addressing the president directly “I will tell you — the things that you have done as the president are remarkable! Remarkable!”
