Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) will appear on ABC’s “The View” for the first time next week.

The show announced the planned visit from Cheney on Wednesday, saying the Republican will join its “hot topics table” on Jan. 10.

Cheney, since leaving Congress, has authored a book about her time in public service and railed against former President Trump, whom she has called a threat to democracy and pledged to help stop from winning another term as president in 2024.

She has done a string of media interviews in recent weeks to promote her book, including a notable appearance on Fox News during which she urged the channel’s viewers to ditch Trump and consider voting for someone else in the 2024 GOP primary.

The co-hosts of “The View” are known for their regular rebukes of Trump and his allies during the popular daytime table-talk program.
