Donald Trump Jr. inks book deal

President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has signed a deal to pen a book focusing on a wide range of political issues, its publisher announced on Wednesday.

The New York businessman signed a deal with Center Street Books, an imprint of the Hachette Book Group, for the as-yet untitled book, which will be published late this year.

Trump Jr. said in a statement that he looks forward to “expressing my observations and opinions about this significant time in American history, the great achievements of my father’s administration, the great people across this country who support him, and those who oppose him.”

Politico first reported the deal early Wednesday.

{mosads}Trump Jr.’s deal is the first book from one of the president’s children during his time in the White House.

Omarosa Manigault Newman and a number of former White House officials who served in the Trump administration have detailed parts of their time working in the White House and the Trump campaign in previous books.

The sequel to “Fire and Fury,” Michael Wolff’s best-selling book on the president’s early months in office, will be released early next month.

The president, who previously published his own best-selling book “The Art of the Deal,” is reportedly planning a tell-all memoir to be released after he leaves the Oval Office.
