British TV host Piers Morgan said Monday that he plans to return to work after testing negative for the coronavirus.

Morgan announced his negative test result on Twitter, saying he will go back to “Good Morning Britain” “as soon as my doctor advises I’m OK to return to work.”

“I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a Govt-designated essential worker,” he said in the tweet.

The British TV host had posted on Sunday that he developed a mild symptom within 48 hours and had taken a COVID-19 test. He announced he didn’t plan to work on the show until he got results back.

Other news broadcast journalists like CNN’s Chris Cuomo and Brooke Baldwin, CBS journalist Maria Mercader and Lesley Stahl of “60 Minutes” had been diagnosed with the virus.

In the U.K., the coronavirus has infected at least 191,831 people, killing 28,809, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
