NFL star accused of making obscene gesture to Trump supporters
NFL star DeAndre Hopkins is being accused of making an obscene gesture to a convoy of supporters of President Trump on an Arizona highway on Sunday.
Hopkins, an All-Pro receiver traded from the Houston Texans to the Arizona Cardinals in the offseason, was driving in his Ferrari convertible on his way to a game against the Seattle Seahawks when he came upon a miles-long caravan of Trump supporters.
Photos posted on social media show Hopkins, 28, putting up two middle fingers while driving.

Deandre Hopkins flicked off Trump supporters from his Ferrari on the way to the game last night. If Drew Brees did this to Bidensupporters it would be the lead story in sports & he’d have to apologize for six straight months before retiring in shame. https://t.co/LQoHXqHVeB

Flipping off Trump supporters while speeding in his Ferrari. A true man of the people. Thank goodness we have professional athletes to guide our thinking in this election. https://t.co/fV98PzW3cS

The Cardinals did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Hopkins and the Cardinals went on to beat the first-place Seahawks in an overtime thriller, 37-34, on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football.”
