Larry Kudlow debuts to big ratings on Fox Business Network

Former President Trump adviser Larry Kudlow pumped up afternoon ratings for the Fox Business Network when his new show “Kudlow” debuted on Tuesday.

Kudlow, who is the former director of the White House National Economic Council, interviewed former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, and the combination of two former Trump officials garnered the show 225,000 total viewers, 34,000 of which were in the desired 25- to 54-year-old age group, according to Nielsen.

The numbers reflect an increase in total viewers of 116 percent and a 183 percent rise in the 25- to 54-year-old demographic compared to the same day last week when the previous show, “After the Bell,” recorded a total viewership of 104,000 and 12,000 viewers in the 25- to 54-year-old demographic.

“After the Bell” was hosted by Connell McShane, who after the last show on Monday, tweeted that he was returning to field reporting.

“We had our last show today at 4 p.m.,” McShane wrote. “While I’m looking forward to getting back to more field reporting, which I love, I’m going to really miss it and miss our team. I’m so proud of them and the honest, fair shows they’ve helped put together on @AftertheBell.”

Kudlow has had several members of the Trump administration on the show since it debuted, including Trump White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller, former U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and former Operation Warp Speed chief adviser Moncef Slaoui.

He also made headlines earlier in the week when he was overheard calling Vice President Harris’s claims about the previous administration’s vaccine rollout “bullshit” on an open mic.
