Schumer trolls Larry Kudlow with tweet about ‘plant-based beer’
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) trolled Larry Kudlow with a tweet during Sunday’s Oscars that mentioned having a “plant-based beer,” a reference to the former Trump adviser’s warnings about President Biden’s climate plan.
“Thanks Joe Biden,” Schumer said.
Excited to be watching the Oscars with an ice cold plant-based beer.

Kudlow had said on his Fox Business show on Friday that Biden’s climate plan is coming for American meat.
“OK, got that? No burger on July 4. No steaks on the barbecue. I’m sure Middle America is just going to love that. Can you grill those Brussels sprouts? So get ready,” Kudlow said. “You can throw back a plant-based beer with your grilled Brussels sprouts and wave your American flag. Call it ‘July 4th Green.’”
Social media users were quick to point out that all beer is plant-based.
Dear @larry_kudlow:
Thank you for your thoughtful input on climate change. Beer is plant based.
