Rachel Campos-Duffy has been hired by Fox News to serve as a co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” the network announced on Monday.
Duffy will host the show alongside co-hosts Pete Hegseth and Will Cain beginning June 12. She will replace Jedediah Bila. The network also announced Lawrence Jones has been elevated to enterprise reporter for the Fox & Friends franchise.
“The success of FOX & Friends can be attributed to the program covering stories Americans care about with relatable co-hosts and reporters they can trust,” Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media said in a statement.”Over the years, our audience has connected with Rachel and Lawrence through their frequent guest appearances and as fill-in hosts on the curvy couch. We are delighted to name them permanent fixtures on our signature morning franchise.”
Duffy, who is married to Former Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.), called the “Fox & Friends” team “amazing” in celebrating the news.
“I look forward to hosting alongside my friends, Pete and Will every Saturday and Sunday,” she said. “I am confident we’ll continue to deliver the number one-rated cable news morning show in America.”
Campos-Duffy and her husband announced in 2019 they had given birth to a ninth child. The Republican lawmaker announced his retirement from Congress that summer saying he wanted to spend more time with his family.
Along with her duties serving as a co-host of “Fox & Friends,” Campos-Duffy will continue to host “Moms” on Fox Nation, a program “which aims to spotlight both the joys and the challenges of motherhood,” the network said.
She will also begin a podcast with her husband, who was signed as a contributor for the network last year, for Fox News Audio. The podcast, titled “From the Kitchen Table – the Duffy’s” will “tackle a wide range of topics from parenting, marriage and relationships,” the network said.
