Megyn Kelly to host daily SiriusXM talk show
Megyn Kelly has signed a deal with SiriusXM to host a daily radio program.
Kelly will host “The Megyn Kelly Show” from noon-2 p.m. ET on the radio network’s Triumph channel. The program will feature interviews and listener calls.
SiriusXM’s Triumph channel currently features hosts including Dave Ramsey, Nancy Grace and Glenn Beck. Kelly’s show will begin on Sept. 7.
“I’m thrilled to be taking our program to the next level by broadcasting it live for SiriusXM’s massive audience,” Kelly said. “My team and I have been grateful to see our show, in less than a year, become one of the most successful podcasts in America — proving that there is a thirst for open, honest and more meaningful conversations about current events. I can’t think of a better partner to help us expand that reach even further than a blue-chip brand like SiriusXM, which has always been a leader in predicting market trends and is perfectly positioned for the evolving manner in which Americans consume their news.”
The former Fox News host recently began a podcast, using it as a platform to interview members of Congress, media pundits and other movers and shakers in the political world.
Kelly is often critical of mainstream corporate media outlets, saying at one point the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol may have been in part caused by a lack of public trust in media.
Kelly left Fox News in 2017 and joined NBC, where she was a host of her own hour on “Today,” before it was canceled a year later.
Deadline, which first reported Kelly’s SiriusXM show, also noted that Red Seat Ventures, which currently produces and distributes Kelly’s podcast, will continue to produce the program.
