Former President Trump’s ex-White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany knocked President Biden in a television appearance on Tuesday, claiming the country didn’t see “crisis after crisis” when her boss held the presidency.

“We are eight months into a Biden presidency. Wrap your head around that. We still have three years and four months left,” McEnany said during an appearance on “Fox News Primetime” on Tuesday during a segment looking at the recent dip in approval ratings Biden has seen in the past week.

McEnany criticized Biden over the U.S. military withdrawal in Afghanistan and his response to the pandemic before making the comparison on crises between the Trump and Biden administrations.

“Look, when President Trump was president, you didn’t see crisis after crisis. You just didn’t see it,” McEnany, adding: “I shudder to think about what COVID would have been like under Joe Biden.”

The comments by McEnany quickly drew attention online, mostly from liberal critics who noted that Trump’s four years in offices were filled with controversy after controversy, culminating in the former president’s false charges that the election was stolen from him, and the attack by a mob of his supporters on the Capitol.

The Twitter account for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah also chimed poked fun McEnany on Wednesday, caption a viral clip of her remarks: “Seriousleigh?”
