Fox News host Neil Cavuto, who has been open about his health struggles with multiple sclerosis, announced Tuesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19 despite being vaccinated.

Cavuto did not host his Fox show “Your World” on Tuesday due to the diagnosis.

“While I’m somewhat stunned by this news, doctors tell me I’m lucky as well,” Cavuto said in a statement shared with The Hill. “Had I not been vaccinated, and with all my medical issues, this would be a far more dire situation. It’s not, because I did and I’m surviving this because I did.”

“I hope anyone and everyone gets that message loud and clear. Get vaccinated, for yourself and everyone around you,” Cavuto continued. “Everyone wins, except maybe my wife, who thought I was back in the city for good for live shows. Maybe not so fast now.”

Cavuto also hosts “Cavuto Live” on Fox News on weekends and “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Fox Business Network.

Cavuto’s diagnosis comes the same day CNN’s John King revealed on the air that he also has multiple sclerosis, saying he was grateful his panel was vaccinated given that he is immunocompromised.
