Cohen telling friends he’s expecting to be arrested soon: report

President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen is telling friends that he is expecting to be arrested any day now, according to Vanity Fair report on Tuesday.

A former White House official told the magazine that Trump should be “super worried” about his long-time partner.

“If anyone can blow up Trump, it’s him,” the official told Vanity Fair.

Trump aides are reportedly worried about Cohen cooperating with investigators.

Cohen denied Vanity Fair’s report.

“Your alleged source is wrong!” Cohen wrote Vanity Fair in a text message.

Another unnamed source told the New York Daily News that Cohen is “very stressed out” about facing a possible indictment.

“None of it is good,” the source reportedly said.

Cohen is under criminal investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York for a number of possible crimes, including potential bank fraud and campaign finance violations.

The FBI raided Cohen’s home, office and hotel room in April.

A federal judge ruled Friday that Cohen’s legal team must publicly file any challenge they make against a special master’s decision on evidence seized from Cohen during the raid.

Just 162 out of the hundreds of thousands of items taken in the no-knock raid have been declared to have attorney–client protection.

Some of the materials taken were related to the $130,000 payment Cohen made to Stormy Daniels, an adult-film star who claims to have had an affair with Trump in 2006.

Trump denies the affair, although he has acknowledged that he reimbursed Cohen for the payment.

Cohen has not been charged with a crime and has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
