Days after a 22-month-old toddler disappeared from his Kentucky home, officials say they’ve found the boy alive.
{mosads}The Magoffin County Sheriff Department said Kenneth Howard was found Wednesday. He was tended to by medics for dehydration, but the department wrote in a statement on Facebook that the boy “is in remarkably good condition.”
Search crews had gone to look for him with a tracker and heard the nearly 2-year-old crying, and the team found him at the bottom of a 50-foot incline, according to WKYT. He was reportedly found about a mile from his home at an old strip mine near the Magoffin-Floyd County line.
Howard was previously seen at his house on Sunday night, and on Tuesday his father had posted a $5,000 reward for anyone who could bring his son home safely.
