Walmart is not changing its gun sale policy following a mass shooting at one of its stores over the weekend that killed at least 20 people.

Company spokesperson Randy Hargrove told The Hill that the company has issued no directives to its stores around the country to change its policy.

Reuters first reported the development.

Walmart, the largest firearm retailer in the country, stopped selling assault-style rifles in 2015 and in 2018 raised the age to purchase guns from 18 to 21, according to the news service. {mosads}

At least 20 people were killed and 26 others were injured Saturday in a shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.

A day later, a gunman killed at least nine people in Dayton, Ohio.

The FBI on Monday warned of potential copycat attacks by domestic extremists in the wake of the two shootings.
