Friends, family and others are gathering in Alabama on Saturday for a memorial service honoring the late Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.).
Lewis, who was born outside Troy, Ala., died on July 17 at the age of 80. The renowned civil rights leader is being honored by a series of celebrations beginning with the service on Saturday.
