ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt announced Thursday night that he will take a break from his show after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Scott, who hosts SportsCenter’s midnight edition, shared the news on Twitter writing, “Thankfully, no fever & I feel fine. Just can’t smell or taste anything which was my clue to go get a test.”

“I will hunker down and hopefully can be back at it before too long,” he continued in the tweet.

Van Pelt has worked for the sports station for nearly 20 years and is notably the network’s highest-profile on-air personality to test positive for the virus, according to USA Today.

ESPN senior fantasy analyst Matthew Berry and the network’s college basketball analyst, Dan Dakich, both tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, USA Today reported.
