Gender reveal party results in two deaths after plane crash
A gender reveal party resulted in the death of two people after a plane involved in the unveiling crashed into the Caribbean Sea.
After the pilot and co-pilot flew over a gender reveal party with a sign hanging off the plane announcing “It’s a girl,” the plane crashed into the ocean, The Daily Beast reported.
The Mexican aviation authorities are investigating the incident, which was caught on video.
Both the pilot and co-pilot were found in the ocean. One was dead when they were found, and the other died while undergoing an operation to save his life.
“It’s all good as long as it doesn’t end up crashing into us,” one of the partygoers said when the plane was falling, according to The Sun.
This is one of several recent gender reveal parties that have ended with a person’s death.
An expectant father died during a gender reveal party in February when the device to reveal the gender exploded.
Gender reveal parties have also been the cause of bush fires in California and Arizona that burned thousands of acres of land and caused many to have to evacuate their homes.
