READ: DOJ memo on Trump’s tax returns
The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday released a memo finding that former President Trump’s tax returns should be released to Congress, amid a long-running fight over the information.
The DOJ said the Democratic-led House Ways and Means Committee had “invoked sufficient reasons for requesting” Trump’s tax information and the Treasury Department “must furnish the information to the Committee.”
