The Senate confirmed New York Jets owner Woody Johnson as the new U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom on Thursday and former Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R) as ambassador to NATO.

The new ambassadors were confirmed alongside a number of other Trump administration officials as the Senate wrapped up work for its August recess.

Johnson, chairman and CEO of the Johnson Co. private asset management firm in New York, is a longtime Republican donor and contributed $1 million to President Trump’s inaugural committee.

The CEO bought the Jets in 2000 for $635 million.

Hutchison retired from the Senate in 2013 after serving for 20 years and went to a private law practice.
