Graham lauds GOP Senate results: ‘Conservative judicial train is going to keep running!’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) celebrated the GOP Senate results in the 2018 midterms Tuesday night, saying conservative judicial confirmations will keep coming.

Graham has been campaigning against sitting Democratic senators for the first time in his political career over the left’s behavior during the confirmation battle over Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“I hope they get their ass kicked for the way they behaved [during the confirmation fight],” Graham said last month.

{mosads}Graham was one of Kavanaugh’s most outspoken defenders and has remained so. 

He launched into a fiery speech in the midst of Kavanaugh’s testimony regarding the allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against him.

A Senate Judiciary Committee report released last week said no evidence has been found to corroborate the accusations against Kavanaugh, which the Justice has passionately denied.

On Tuesday night, Graham retweeted a post by Frank Thorp, who quoted the Senator as saying, “The Kavanaugh-effect is real…I think the caravan was a nightmare for Trump-state democrats.”
