Read: Organizing resolution for Senate impeachment trial
The organizing resolution for the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump will allow both sides up to 24 hours over two days to present their cases.
Senators will then have 16 hours to ask questions before the question of witnesses will be decided.
The Senate will vote on the resolution Tuesday and opening arguments will begin Wednesday.
