Two students were killed and several others wounded in a shooting Tuesday morning at a Kentucky high school, Gov. Matt Bevin (R) said.
Bevin told reporters Tuesday afternoon that a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl had died.
In all, 14 people were shot at Marshall County High School in the southwest Kentucky city of Benton, he said.
The governor said in an earlier tweet that the suspected shooter was in custody.
{mosads}Bevin said the suspect, a 15-year-old male, will be charged with murder and attempted murder.
The Kentucky shooting comes one day after a teenager was injured in a shooting at a Texas high school.
