Live results: Matt Gaetz faces primary challenger in Florida

Voters in Florida’s 1st Congressional District will head to the polls Tuesday to determine whether Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) will keep his House seat or be replaced by GOP challenger Aaron Dimmock, who is backed by Gaetz’s political nemesis, former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R).
Dimmock, a former naval officer, filed to run against Gaetz in the primary last April. Gaetz and Dimmock have since lobbed several attack ads at each other.
