Austin-area police say three officers shot

A police department in a suburb of Austin, Texas, said three officers were shot while responding to a call at a home on Sunday. 

The subject is barricaded inside the home and multiple law enforcement agencies are on scene, Cedar Park Police tweeted.

The officers are at a local hospital in stable condition, according to the department. 

Just left the hospital and all 3 ofc’s are in stable condition. The scene in Heritage Park Subdivision is still active. Please avoid the area. Thank you to everyone who has expressed their concern. #

The department said the scene remains “very active.”
